Stars Just for Me

Look at me with those eyes,

The ones that hold galaxies and stars.

Let me get lost in them.

I want to inspect every twinkling orb

And venture through their secrets.

I want to solve the puzzle

And unlock the doors-

Just for a glimpse of those sparkling eyes.

 

I know them so well,

But I have much to learn

About those baby blues.

Look at me an Explore mine too.

They’re like a sky painted by Van Gogh

Or like a sun, reflecting on slow moving water.

So beautiful.

So mesmerizing.

 

I want to look into your eyes,

And know that everything’s okay.

I want to look into your eyes,

And know that I am home-

And know I’m not meant to be anywhere but here.

I want to look into your eyes,

And see my future.
