Blinded

Blinded

A Poem by LeeAnne Peytonn

Does anyone see

Inside these darkened eyes?

For I often

Feel alone, like

Everyone’s disappeared.

Reality presses down

Especially at my weakest point.

No one is really

There. Your mind is on it’s own.

Realizing the fear that’s

Eating away at you core will

Always leave you wondering when

Life will change

Its course.

Tomorrow is always new, this you must know.

You are in control of the future from your past.

I like your understanding. Of course our resistance makes us aware of our weak points. Erroneusly, often, our past tends to dictate our future actions.
