Bleeding Eyes

Bleeding Eyes

A Poem by LeeAnne Peytonn

Rain, Rain
Go Away
You were never meant to live today.
You only bring
This pain and ache-
Battle cries and a burning quake

Rain, Rain
Go Away
My eyes they burn with acidic tears.
You've singed my soul
And pierced my heart-
Breaking me in half with a simple start.

Rain, Rain
Go away
And don't ever come back
Even on my saddest day.

Nice :) Might want a spell check for the last line. Really good though :) Brings a lot of visual thinking.
