As more and more fall victim to these lies
As the world becomes ignorant

Are we to afraid to speak up?
Afraid we will be hated

This is the sound of silence

As sex, drugs, and abuse is welcomed in

Love this and the message you got across. I agree with this poem 100%. I don't know why...but I could see this being a song. Maybe because of some of the repitions in this piece. Either way...great poem! :)
