Hiding behind an empty smile
is a life so veil
Sorrow and pain
runs through our veins
We wait for sleep
to put pain to a stop
Self infliction and drug addictions
are our salvation

Will there ever be an end
for the broken hearted?
Will there ever be healing
for the broken hearted?
Will there ever be love
for the broken hearted?

We drink sorrow
praying it wont be this way tomarrow
Shuned out and cussed out
by ones we once called friends
This pain drives us towards our end

Ive heard your cries
for a better life
No more wanting to die
Ill keep you safe
look above
You will find love

And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes
there shall be no more death
nor sorrow
nor cring
There shall be no more pain
for the former things have passed away
