Do I Still GuideA Poem by Daniel FletcherAh, words. So useful, so magical....Do I still guide these words I used Or do they spirit thoughts along Like creatures which, with silent song, Are carrying my weight, bemused?
When broken, empha- sized like this They’re given weight; attention’s gifts. They coruscate, perspective shifts They reach the depth I always miss.
I write and fantasy is true -- Words seem to take it all from here. These clothes of thought make thoughts so clear. Elucidate! I cry -- they do. © 2016 Daniel FletcherAuthor's Note
