knowledgeA Poem by LechusaReading the Yoga Sutras of Pantagali and the recent death of Aretha Franklin helped inspire this piece. I hope you like it and brings you comfort.I no longer play the role of the perfectionist, Instead I embraced acceptance, Like honey in tea, Well-balanced and sweet. Linearity- a constant craving, A limitless rapture appointed against me, Now, I travel through valleys and hills, With ease, with grace, but most of all with, Knowledge. Of expiration, Time’s relentless reminders, Ticking and ticking, Until the defeat. But please do not misinterpret, For the body is a capsule, Meant to shed its skin, Transcendence, you’re welcomed, As the wind welcomes the trees. Shuffling in motion, Embracing, Perceptive, As she always is.
