Who would've known

Who would've known that time would pass,
That I would eventually understand,
What the world had to offer
Or not...
Who would've known that I was always going against the grain,
While going in the same direction,
That I'd eventually open my eyes,
To see what was really there,
Who would've known...
Not me.

What've first line, would've
We all of us have our dreams and wishes mostly these never materialising, but it will not stop us nonetheless. And if you want really odd dreams eat a pound of cheddar before nipping off to bed, man that stuff does weird things to the brain
