HOME AFRICA

A Poem by meister
"

thousands miles away from home

"

Gondwana, Born of Pangaea when separation first began

Like a unicell dividing

I am from the south most tip, where my roots go deep into the blood fed land that produce historic fruits

Where unity is every morning’s prayer but Robin remains an island,

Where the keepers of the sea make sure that the captives never see the seashore..

Yes I know storms but my rainbow nation rests me assured,

Each color doing its chore a refuge Mama Africa,

Her hands are open for the world and her breasts never run out of milk for her kids

She serves her a-maizing triangle of her Free State heart on a Table Mountain,

Home to lost treasures, when they search history on the stones,

Her art becomes visible as she rocks the cradle of mankind

To all she is kind, one of a kind God bless her for amongst pearls she rocks……..Africa
