Back in Time

Back in Time

What if the world had never known

a smiling face or an old tree's groan,

a peaceful place to call our own?

What if we all were lost in space,

hopeless, purposeless, without grace?

Even now, we hunger for more,

the father's arms we knew before,

the light and joy that comfort brings.

The voices of the angels sing:

Hallelujah, the Lord is alive!

Hallelujah, death is defied!

Stay a little while longer, let him lead you.

Stay a little while longer, let him change your life.

What if his people rose up together?

What if there's hope for this world we know?

What if we brought back his kingdom forever?

What if salvation is the crop we have sown?

Kingdom, return.

Bring our home back again

Stay a little while longer, let him lead you.

Stay a little while longer, let him change your life.
