Quiet child

Quiet child

A Poem by E.A. Leaves

I was a quiet child.
Did not ask for much.

Loved mommy...
Loved daddy...

And then... one day...

I was a quiet child.
Did not ask for much.

Listened to mommy.
Listened to daddy.

And then... one day...

I was a quiet child.
Did not ask for much.

Do you love mommy?
Or...
Do you love daddy?

I was a quiet child.
Nobody heard me yell.

That I loved both of them...

Loved mommy.

And daddy...

As well.
