A Bloody RomanceA Poem by Ashley D'CostaA bloody not-so-romantic poem.
Red and Blue, sirens buzzing through the streets
looking for,
Jake and Kate, outlaws in large running from, Guns and Batons, smelling for blood. Doors and Windows, bolted firmly in a warehouse Jake and Kate, looked at each other with passion Him and Her,knew that this might be their last Naked and Free, they stood there Eyes and Eyes, fixed at each other Lips and Lips, joined for the last kiss Back and Forth,he stabbed her Back and Forth, she stabbed him Back and Forth, they stabbed each other Guns and Batons, rushed through the doors but all they found were two bodies Dead and Cold, hugging each other like lovers for eternal life © 2016 Ashley D'Costa |
