pain

pain

A Poem by RegalKittyBits
"

I decided to write this after reading a short short short poem of a friend

"

Rain can brush away many tears,

Men, women, the condemned.

But the pain pushes through,

A secret, an undying hatred and love,

A terrifying and yet exciting experience.

My pain is real, but I am proud,

My tears sting, but I won’t let you see them

Only in the rain do I cry, only in the pace of life that prevents my sorrow from being shown to the world.

No one can see what makes me hurt, that is for me and the rain, and in its loving embrace I let my blood run down my cheeks, and seek the death that should have claimed me long ago.
