Dear Moon..

Dear Moon..

A Poem by leaona Ann Brown
"

this is a small letter to the moon how some of us may feel down here compared to the moon, who lookes down on us.

"
Moon
I see you
above the trees
Illuminance reflection, looking back.
Most nights, you're unbothered by my presence.
frequented by this paradise.
perhaps im Invisible to God's eyes as i am to you tonight.

cold mud clung to my bare feet.
small stones and sticks, stab at me like fire ants.
Trees surround me
wind singing sad tones into my ears.

seemingly bothered by my presence.
unfrequented by this paradise.
unlike you moon.
perhaps im invisible to you as
i am to god.

I enjoyed this a whole lot. Interesting thought-provoking emotional and even sad.
