In Your EyesA Poem by Leanne ConwayI look into your eyes And what do I see Everything in the world Except me I look into your eyes And see the magic of the world I also see my best friends A boy that I find extremely special I look into your eyes And I see your soul It's a power too big For even me to control I look into your eyes And I can see that look On your face, so innocent That I unknowingly took I look into your eyes And I can see secrets That you've hidden from me And have willingly kept I look into your eyes And I can see the lies That your poured down my throat About you being all alright I look into your eyes And I see a smile It's that lovely thing I haven't seen in a while I look into your eyes And I see your heart I tried to take it once But it pulled me apart I look into your eyes And I see the love I need I just want to ask For some help from above I look into your eyes And I see your feelings I know them all too well And I can see that I'm stealing I look into your eyes I can see you entirely I love every bit of it You're so lively But now you look into my eyes And you see me, a girl Who is so afraid To let you in her world You look into my eyes And you see my heart It is still broken From where you tore it apart You look into my eyes And you see my soul It has been scarred Because of your parole You look into my eyes And you see the secrets That you kept from me You wonder how I got them You wonder Who gave me the key Then you look into my eyes And see the secrets That you were protecting Hiding away from me They are written clearly In black And in blue They all point in one direction And that's why I'm so blue They all point to the fact That I've always loved you
