A bouquet of love

The mysterious smile, of a girl who knows her sister will love the bouquet

The flowers bloom in midspring
The song a bird makes, causes the trees to sway

A girl walks quietly with the her dainty gold slippers
And she walks to the thorny rose bush with the beautiful smell

The animals greet her with a chatter so loud
The girl just smiles and picks the stems of the delicate roses

Who must the flowers be for?
Her true love? Her mother?

The mysterious smile of the girl who knows
She'll give these flowers to her sister so small

Her sister so precious to her, even though she's young
She knows how her sister loves the roses

As if they are from her prince charming with a love so passionate
The girl smiles picturing the smile on her sisters face

Her sister will be so happy to see these roses
She'll feed them each day drop by drop

The girl starts to walk back home with a bouquet so large
Her silky gold dress that is blown in different directions with the strong wind

She walks home down the paved streets
And she just smiles looking down at the faraway cottage aglow

She looks ahead and sees her sister playing
The moon starts to come up as the sun goes down

The girl starts to run home so her sister may not be alone
Her sister jumps up running towards the girl when she sees her there

The girl gives the flowers to her sister so excited
Her sister smiles with the smile of a shining star

They both go inside-The girl will never forget that precious moment

i have never read anything like that that in this web.... caring for a sister ,not yelling for a lost love ..... who said that love only exist between lovers only !!! here is the prove that there is love somewhere else... your poem my dear

Yeah I fully understand how love comes in all forms. Not just the romantic, but the love of a child or the love of a sister.
I have a younger sister myself and remember when we both were little and would play together all day. I really felt like I should portray that love through a poem.
