The morning sun

The cold chills the bones like the moon in the night,

So dark and gloomy it grants us a fright.

Oh how we wish for a light so daring,

That we would all be happy and feel so caring.

The light of day, the dark of night,

Oh how I sought that mysterious plight!

To cure it of evil, and grant it new,

Make the ground shine, with the morning dew.

Oh you hear us crying from below,

All the regrets of our life which was low.

We moan as the trees sway to the side,

We mourn for a life to cure us of our lies.

Don't wait for the sun to come up today,

Fix your life up from your frightful ways.

We cry from the ground beneath where our gravestones tower,

Help one another starting this very hour.

Love as you wish, but make it kind,

For people seek a kindful mind.

Love each other from now on,

Love together starting at dawn.

Well, let me see...To be honest I enjoy writing more sentimental pieces, as I can think of some many issues that should be breached. If you take a look at some of my other poems, you'll see lots of them have a moral to them. I like to write about things in this world that should be made better etc.
