Sad faces,
on the phone,
in the mirror,
in the park.

What are we missing?

We can't tell
but sometimes
fear beats us .

That feeling of nostalgia
that inundates our guts,
our dreams,
our feelings.

It's never too late,
but sometimes
we don't have someone
to save us.

I can still wait
for you,
but don't play around
too much,
I need to find you.

My feelings taste
like sour ashes
after overcoming many tragedies.

You're my last hope,
I know, my words are vague,
but I do need you to resuscitate me
with your kisses,
with your touch,
and with your gaze.

Que es lo que nos hace falta?

No nos damos cuenta
pero a veces es el miedo

I've been absent for a while, so I decided to post one of my latest verses as a treat? haha Again it's in Spanish, but I translated it the best possible. Thank you for reading, hope you enjoyed.

I so so wish I knew Spanish. I find there is so much in the nuance of the native tongue. Subtleties often lost in translation. But what I know is it's hard to hold onto hope after love is lost. Hope that you'll find love's sweet grace once more, feel her arms around you. Cupid is a fickle fool.

I find hope harder to hold onto the older I get and some nights I can't tell if nostalgia is my friend or enemy in the fear of finding love once again. Beautifully written.
