Mothers do travel a distanceA Poem by LeahMichaels♥In their mind and heart.Lost in my words, my thought and emotion. A purpose so small and fragile in you. My mind swirls low, deep in your occean, a depth inviting so weak and so blue.
Months appear slowly and freely pass me by. I know where I am, I'm here, I'm gone, I fly, but where am I travelling to? What lies in this future? What truth will I uncover? Will I awake from this slumber? and hold you, so small and beautiful. My own.
Responsibilty as new as the first sun rise, deep gold, heavenly and true. A shock and a gift and a nightmare all in one. A bundle of joy a fresh new begining. I cried and I laughed I just never knew. What is to be? What is to come? My fate lies soley in your eyes. An innocence so pure and faithful. All that they said were lies.
