More than fiction

More than fiction

A Poem by Vertigo

A city angel
Perhaps
If you saw me at the right angle
A likeness
Of a debased truth
My life is fiction
But what is the reality
Other than what we  perceive?
What do I breathe
Other than stale air?
I am silent
In all respects but one...

And within every vow that stands
Nothing is written in stone

I believe in rights of passage
And in love
Even when the world seems colorless

Indeed, the truth as we each know it stems from our own perception, very true!
