Hour Glass

Hour Glass

A Poem by Vertigo

It's like trying to hold sand

Between your fingers
As if time were just a number
You followed on your watch
Like following a star
Though its light is baron
And lost
To the universal tides
Even when you meet the ocean
Pulling you in
You are still
Upon the waves
To be one in all
To rise and fall
It's like trying to hold sand
Between your fingers
As if time were just a number
You followed on your watch
