Alone in twilight

Alone in twilight

A Poem by Vertigo

I used to be alot of things

Alot of things that were
Or
Rather
Should have been
Like seeing with one eye closed
I used to know everything
And nothing
Always, always alone at twilight
Alive to be sure
In every aspect of being
In humanities plight
In the shallow nights
Baring a thoughtlessness
A surity
A truth
Until the sky would fall
And I would hold such a world on my shoulders
