Falling night skies

Falling night skies

A Poem by Vertigo

 If every night sky fell

Would we survive?
And the lights cast in our eyes
Holding countless memories
Of days on end
Where the sun filtered through
Your skin
And I always wondered
At the silence
And the windows casting reflections
In our present state
Perhaps
Holding on to our past
Is just like trying to hold
Lucid dreams
Within your palms...
