Like a phoenix

Like a phoenix

A Poem by Vertigo

 The countless wings

Of a sudden day dream
With-held in sun beams
That fall through tree tops
And I am aware
Unwavering
Watching every movement
Of sound
I could fly
With these broken wings
Singed on the edges
Dare I rise
Above in lightness
In soundless fire
And everlasting ash
Like a phoenix

Wow. Nicely writen maybe edit it a little and you could add some other things. Its short and simple. It kinda reminds me of how people would be better off if they had the characteristics of a Phoenix. It would be nice if all of us could have the courage to get back up from the ashes :D.
