Stale air

Stale air

A Poem by Vertigo

 Knowing what it is

To be a stranger to yourself
With you there
Breathing in the stale air
Knowing what it is
In transcending light
To live in a silent night
I cast gazes
With solemn irises
And the mirror looks back
Just as solemnly
A ghost of thought
And sound
Knowing what it is
To be a stranger to yourself
With you there
Breathing in the stale air.
