Guide me home

Guide me home

A Poem by Vertigo

 Guide me home

As the night falls
I don't want to be alone
With such heights
Reaching in every
Cloud
Don't pull me down
From this waterfall
Of light
I am not afraid to stand
Or to fall
When you are there
To catch me
As we correspond
In hands...
Looking out of the car window
Images fly
And my eyes follow
Every unmoving constellation...
Guide me home
As the night falls
I don't want to be alone.

A powerful poem. I could feel the desire and desperation in your words. Home is where we should feel safe.
