Storms

Storms

A Poem by Vertigo

In the heart of the storm

Oh so perfectly
As you stand there
Silently
I can rise before you unafraid
With everything we've made
In the years of passing glances
With so much unsaid
Pressing hands
Quiet beats
Eyes meeting in the dim lit streets
Casting halos
The storms pass with their lightning strikes
And torrential pull
But I remain still
Oh so perfectly
When you stand there
Silently.
