To BeA Poem by VertigoTo be Oh so suddenly
And the vague inclinations
Hide in our eyes
I hold yours for a moment
In passing
Everlasting
But subtracting every
Heart beat
Love streaked
Lightning strike
Blinded
Unfounded
Surrounded
Falling in and out so easily
But we could be
What we see
With ringed irises
Streaming in midnight ruminations
Hold my hand and
Understand
As I close my eyes to the tears
Without fear
Endlessly
We aren't such a tragedy
For love is blind
Rewind every scar
Mark every war
As arms enfold
In a story untold
