Rise

Rise

A Poem by Vertigo

 Just as I rise
I fall
With slight arms
And hidden charms
Endlessly bound
Between a hand
And a heart
As steady as a sudden wind
I wrap my arms around my knees
And you'll stand by my window...
I am waiting at the corner
Under street lamp beams
With my eyes seeking every star
And you appear
I am suddenly fearless
As our loveless hands meet
Every silent touch.
