Morning Glow

Morning Glow

A Poem by Vertigo

 Veiled eyes
Shifting with the endless
Streams of morning
Leaning gently against
The cool glass
I encounter you
In silent reprise
Even as your eyes close
And the curtains around us flow

And our presence could be no more
Than a silent past
Nothing left,
But the morning glow.
