Lightning

Lightning

A Poem by Vertigo

 Following the lightning strikes

Fighting the night skies
Clouded membranes
Unsustained
And my heart beats
Incessantly against the barriers
Letting the wind pull at my hair
The storm spinning everywhere
And I am always watching
And waiting, anticipating
Flowing with the undulating currents
As every strike pulls me in...
