The Silent Ash

The Silent Ash

A Poem by Vertigo
"

One day Can hold a lifetime...

"

The ash falls silently

With the rising fire
And I am just within the outskirts
One day is all we have
One day
It will all fade into the burning sunset
But I...I was born of the ash
And I am all there is left.

wow, i love the depth you employ, this has a sincere effect of cause and speaks on a multitude of levels.
to be ash that has always been. sinse the beginning of time, or the creation of a fire that has long sinse burned its final yearning.. metaphorically speaking, this reminds me of a hearts desire of freedom of expression, its beautifully scribed and a pleasure to read, you have graceful talent.

Another wondeful piece. I really love the lines:
"One day is all we have
One day
It will all fade into the burning sunset"
Thanks for sharing. =)
