A Distant Calling

A Distant Calling

A Poem by Vertigo

Its like an ending that never had a beginning
The length of my sight
Reaches only so far
A distant calling
Between you and I
Unmet...
My palms are clasped
Between night and day
And though I am frayed
I am free...

your words are naturally romantic, i always seem to find my own thoughts drifting through the meaning in one way or another, the idea of a shadowing ponder, a light, cast by the idea of a connection, a distant calling, the intrigue is subtle yet brilliantly sweet in nature, this poems flows like honey, imo. the scope of thought stikes me as an eternal contemplation of love, life and dreams.

This poem took a hold of me and shook me. You stirred up some memories inside somewhere.
I really enjoyed it. Greatly done this emotion.
