Stories Untold

Stories Untold

A Poem by Vertigo

Shooting stars
Rising and rising
Ending wars of lightning
And ash...
Standing still with the wind
Pulling me in
Like a dream
As I rise and rise
Golden light flashing
My memory lasting
At the brink of a storm
And my irises unfold
Into stories untold
Just as I breathe
And live
Within a field of gold.
