In My Own World

In My Own World

A Poem by Vertigo

I could surround you as though the light would catch my reflection with my eyes always reaching, but the distance leaves me unwavering. Even with a deepening chasm in its seeming illusion that rests there for miles on end even with everything that calls me down into it, but I must always remain steady...Its like living in two separate worlds that never meet, between the earth and the sky and I remain always on the other side of the shore with a drowning sun.
