My Own Reality

My Own Reality

A Poem by Vertigo

It wasn't always or forever when I surfaced,
My eyes laced in ebony
Like a dream
With an amber heart
Just as rhythmic as a sea meeting the shore...
But would you hear past the waves?
I am as I ever was
Sweetly sounding surrounding like the tides of my life
And the ache that pulls me into my own reality.

Have you ever read Elton Glaser's: Meditation in Blue and White
may I suggest read it, this poem is of the same mind and vibe, it is brilliant and i love the imagery
and the flow and the way your words come aross like the whipping topps of waves
breaking against the shoreline of understanding. a real pleasure to read.
