Rising

Rising

A Poem by Vertigo

Green gold fills me with the anger I once held...The very shade of your eyes illuminate with the wars on wars fought hidden and frayed with the world as a stage and the acts upheld on their own... and my mind....my mind is like a battle field without any shield to the onslaught so lost in the tides and what is there left of me? what is there left but teetering over the edge as though I am already falling with the vertigo calling me down, but I continue to rise and rise and rise.

you never cease to amaze me with your sense of passion and wordcrafting , I love how
you left the meaning open to specific interpretation, green gold to me is money, and the nations
ravaged by greed are the wars. the wording is brilliantly done, this is a pleasure to read.
