Lightning Strikes

Lightning Strikes

A Poem by Vertigo

Thousands of eyes faceted with the best of both worlds in my hands, lacking in emotional faults like burning edges like candle light and late night ruminating tuning into you like a dream of a thousand lives in my eyes and we are only two, never knowing with our backs turned...always seeking the other in spite of the rain in our eyes and the time goes by and by we don't know why we cry with the fear of lightning striking in the sky almost as though it could reach the ground where we stand...

I love where your works take the reader, this captures romance on a plane that is brilliant,
this was a real pleasure to read.
