Endless Night

Endless Night

A Poem by Vertigo

Sleepless and frayed at the edges as though in a dream, twilight reflecting within my irises like starlight fighting against the brooding midnight glare, always in rainbows of color in a colorless sky. I reach for lamp beam lights in their comfort against the cold shadows that dwell in my memory like a history of endless night.
