![]() SometimesA Poem by VertigoSometimes we are nothing more than what we are on the outside, like living masks Sometimes we are born in light of a storm within a distant age, caught up in societies cage with a distant rage... Sometimes we're living on the edge of reason with broken words with their broken sounds and we strive to make everything turn on its axis so that we aren't blind and can clear our minds of a searing conscience... Sometimes we are faced with a blanketing fog that holds the melancholic realities that purge human life with the battles within wars that drives in full, a fire that pulses with shades of color illuminating tirelessly burning away like a kaleidoscope that colors lightness in the back of our minds... And sometimes...we transcend on the surface with the reasoning that we may rise with the sun awake and alive. © 2009 VertigoAuthor's Note
