Within A Setting Sun

Sheltered in the sunlight
Brimming with green and gold surrounding
The aspects
Of a natural reality
That holds the world in place...
Still as the wind sways
Without an end to the brisk
Movements of tendrils swaying with it
And the makings of a setting sun
That will only rise again
In the ashes
Of a world that continuously burns
In its sleep
