I never miss a beat walking down familiar pavement with only street light beams as a guide...the streets are lonely at this time but I don't mind... I can walk without searing fear that has a tendency to follow without any regard to the shadows that seem to protect me in this light...and I still don't mind as the night overshadows the daylight ruminations that usually encumber me...I am someone else, just a shadow among shadows where I live and breathe indifferent to the ambiance...
