Where I Have Been

Where I Have Been

A Poem by Vertigo

I've been to that place where the mindless speak...I've been where there are dreams that are living....I've been to that place where I am falling over the edge of a waterfall, but then I wake in a cold sweat and there is nothing between me and the ceiling with the fan running and running and I just get lost in the rhythmic beat of it...I've been to the ocean losing control as the waves took me in...rolling and rolling as though I could drown, but I don't....I've been to the center of a single sunrise that I once thought I would die from a sleepless night with sleepless dreams that felt all too real. I hold a mystery of millions of lives. I breathe light and shadows that move into one another....And I have done nothing for your hopes but hold my own...

This is brilliant and beautifully written and the messege holds timeless meaning throughout,
and the depth holds equal in romantic scope, lovely job.
