Ticking Clocks

Ticking Clocks

A Poem by Vertigo

And so, I'm always watching ticking clocks like they're ticking bombs but they never

really explode...I exploded once and broke into pieces you could say and though I

am glued back together I always look a bit....off....

My chest just flows and flows like a waterfall into my heart beating rhythmic and

inconsistent, barely alive though because sometimes  I feel my pulse and it feels

[weak] at the touch. Sometimes I am mesmerized at the brink of sunsets because

its like it marks the end of everything as we know it, like there is no going back or forward.

Maybe sunsets are eternal.

I turn on a spindle until I am dizzy, and it looks as though the world is just spinning too fast for me to keep up.

"I turn on a spindle until I am dizzy, and it looks as though the world is just spinning too fast for me to keep up." I love this Line!!! The world is always spinning, but sometimes it's just too darn fast! Great Write!!

I love this line 'Maybe sunsets are eternal' its sounds so wonderful if the entire world would be stuck in a permanent scenario of a sunset. A prolonged moment =]
Great job!
