Blinded

Blinded

A Poem by Vertigo

This isn't just a game we play in regards to what is visible and what isn't. We see the world in its facade of mirror images, but nothing, nothing can be realized unless you can see it with your eyes closed. Blinded to the light that reflects the dark with [everything] in between. It's like knowing love from a distance even though it doesn't show...even though none will ever know. It's like knowing that life is just a tragedy of countless tragedies, but you can't help but laugh in the midst of it. And its when every mistake you have ever made breaks into a million pieces and isn't even recognizable because in the end none of it matters......none of it.

The style of prose is genuinely justified, in metaphor, passionate, touching and a real pleasure to read.
