You and I

You and I

A Poem by Vertigo
"

sigh I just don't know

"

You and I aren't what we seem

We are in relation to one another

Because we both dream

In riddles and rhyme

Within a distant time

I want to rewind

Just to make the world spin on its axis

Just to see you in a light a once knew

When I could feel the shadows play across my face in spring

When I could sing in tune

When I could laugh without irony

When I could breathe reality

With a condensed emotional capacity of certainty

And I....I could see you in the horizon

And not be afraid

"We are in relation to one another

Because we both dream

In riddles and rhyme", my favorite line! Amazing and ever so true!

That was so wonderful and dreamy ,my friend ,i almost liked every word
the feelings ,the dreaminess all here is so breath taking..
We are one becuase we dream in riddles and rhyme,in a distant time
Want the world to spin to see you yet again in a light I once knew
want to see my face where once I sang the tunes
i smiled and laughed and breathed realty
I could see you up there on the horizen
never were I afraid..
