Like Angels In The Dark

Like Angels In The Dark

A Poem by Vertigo

Standing at the end of a train, as I watch the blur through the window next to me...

I couldn't believe that I was here, on my own...alone. I didn't feel in any danger...but I

didn't feel anything, as lost as I would ever be. 'We're all distant angels blind to the night

life' I think 'With street light beams as halos' Just as the train meets its destination I look

up to find someone watching me curiously, but without any regard that I actually

exist...'Just angels in the dark' I think, and walk off.
