So what

So what

A Poem by Vertigo

It's when you're right next to me even though you can't be real

As my words tumble and my meaning is distorted

It's when I love without knowing it

So what if I am nothing without the written word

And I am invisible otherwise

Even though I can see you as clear as day...

So what, if I want you to stay with the way you are

So what, if I don't make sense

So what, if I don't want this life to end

This piece seems very original. I can see your intentions...what you were trying to convey. However, I feel that you should fashion it a bit better. Give more life to "So what if I don't." Great potential.

Hmm, I'm at a bit of a loss ... I like the first two lines and the line about the written word. But, looking again, I think you have tied youself in a strait-jacket with the repetition.
