Waiting

Waiting

A Poem by Vertigo

Beauty queen with eyes unseen strewn across societies plight as though I were sand in a

dune like looking through clear glass moving past a revolving door and all I do is revolve

and revolve unseen...

Looking past without a glance where there is just me and only me without

a place with a distant face and there are no eyes to see though my hands are clasped

and I just wait and wait and wait...as though I need to be saved.

I absolutely adore the first line, and I really like the revolving door metaphor.
