Barely Within Reach

Shrowded in your shadow

Complicated influxes

That make my insides churn

With every burn

And every scar

Manuvering under the lightness

Too bright to see

With your dark eyed glint

And every heart that breaks

With everything that is at stake

For in you I fall

Against a burning wall

Closer to this view of you and me

Rising in a distant sea

Of light against dark

In the heart of the fire

Of icy heat

And I am just barely within reach
